Wakon Japanese Restaurant has been operating at Damansara Utama for 2 years, and is run by a Hong Kong chef who has the love for Japanese cuisine. After working in the F&B industry in Hong Kong for years, he decided to move his restaurant business to Malaysia as he fell in love with the laid back and relaxed environment in Malaysia.

Just like the Japanese spirit, Wakon Japanese Restaurant is about having the innovative spirit while keeping the Japanese tradition. Stepping into the restaurant, you’ll be greeted by a simple and comfortable Japanese Izakaya-style interior.

Being an Izakaya restaurant, Wakon has a very simple menu which mainly consists of grilled dishes such as Pork Neck Skewers, BBQ Squid, BBQ Chicken Wings and many more. On top of these, Wakon offers ala carte menu such as rice options, ramen and their signature such as Black Truffle Mixed with Udon. To ensure their customer have the best experience, Wakon is determine in serving quality dishes. Since it’s an Izakaya restaurant, you can expect to savour some Sake over your meal at Wakon.

Thai Syok, Wisma Central

I'm addicted in Thai especially their food and country. Thanks for my friend bringing me to get a try on this new restaurant - Thai Syok which located at Wisma Central (opposite Avenue K). 

It's hardly to notice the exact location of this restaurant even you at the building of Wisma Central. It is actually located at the right side of main entrance after the parking entrance. 

We get to try on 10 dishes but i just manage to capture some of them.

As you know good food never wait you. HAHAHA!

Eat is still come first when they meet the 'hungry ghosts' :D

The environment of a restaurant is still a main concern of mine whether i will pay a second visit. Thus, this restaurant does not fail to surprise me as the design and concept of the restaurant is interesting. The tidiness and cleanliness of restaurant are satisfied as well.

Thai dessert always link to their signature fruit coconut and the famous mango sticky rice 

It is really a good thai food experience! I will definitely bring along my family and friends to visit here again.
